Got an awesome idea but need to make and manage the budget to get it out there? This Budget Building and Management wānanga is for you!

Te Pou Theatre has partnered with award-winning producer Vanessa Immink, founder of VOLT, to take us through her tips, advice and rationale when building a show budget and then managing the budget across the delivery period.The wānanga will include some practical examples to work through too.

This wānanga is specifically aimed at our performing arts whānau who are still building their confidence in budget building and budget management who are keen to learn more.

About Vanessa Immink

Vanessa Immink (Ngāti Haua, Ngā Wairiki Ngāti Apa, Pākehā) is a theatre maker and producer from Aotearoa New Zealand. Vanessa has her own company (VIP) where she has worked on a variety of projects such as Talofa Papa, Whakapaupakihi, Adelaide Fringe Festival, Kia Mau Festival, Ngā Hua Toi, Pūtahi Festival, Hamilton, Cirque du Soleil, Blue Man Group and more.

 

Vanessa has a background in Musical Theatre so you might find her singing along to a show tune. She’s an avid traveller, an Aquarius and loves the water.
